Lingerie Care Guide

Gentle care helps lingerie retain its shape, colour and elasticity. Always follow the care label supplied with the item when it differs from this general guide.

Washing

• Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent whenever possible.
• Fasten hooks and separate light and dark colours.
• If machine washing is permitted, use a lingerie bag and a gentle cycle.
• Avoid bleach, fabric softener, wringing and prolonged soaking.

Drying and storage

• Reshape gently and air dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry unless the care label permits it.
• Store bras flat or nested so moulded cups are not crushed.
• Keep lace and delicate fabrics away from rough fasteners and jewellery.

Swimwear

Rinse promptly in cool fresh water after swimming. Chlorine, salt water, sunscreen and heat can shorten the life of elastic fibres.
